Eh, I was not speed or power-shifting. I really don't think I hurt a synchro (I did some amazingly stupid things in my Trans Am, like a ton of 2-3-2's and that T56 lived just fine for 150K miles until I sold it). Mainly, I just am hyper-sensetive to that T/O bearing whine now, lol. It really is super noticeable, but I think I do remember thinking "Is that my Z1 intake tube and drop-in doing that?" when I revved my car a bit after installing them, so likely I am just hyper-sensetive to it for a bit. Anyway, you say prominent (if you listen for it) whine on low-speed accel/decel and when revved in gear with the clutch engauged is normal? It reminds me of some GM alternators or a VERY VERY quiet SC.

Either way, going to all Red Line fluids Thursday morning.
