Like, how are you measuring the start and finish of each run? Are you basing it off a speedo or what? Most speedometers are not accurate 100% of the time the higher up you go. Unless you have a 1/4 mile perfectly measured out and have a sure fire 100% method of measuring the time, you're numbers will always vary.
Now that you mention it, I think you're right. I was assuming he was using cameras outside the car with marked reference points, kind of like they do on Mythbusters. If he's just pointing a camera at the speedo, it's not going to be all that accurate. Heck, downloading that app for your iPhone would be more accurate.
