Is the ZL1 going to be bad*ss? Yes it will, will it be able to be modded with a smaller S/C pulley + catless pipes + gears, you better bet on it. Cheap mods (maybe 1200 without full exhaust) and probably 100+ rwhp gain like on my old 03 cobra.

After all this, you can't tell me when sitting at a red light with your girl.... a ZL1 pulls up next to you and gives you a friendly rev, that you don't quietly sit there thinking "f*ck, leave me alone".
