You are right about the tune not being needed. It would give you a bit more if you did plus other maps for valet and low octane or anti-theft. If you had replaced your cats, it would be best to get the tune. You just have to weigh the cost to power gains.

Cheapest gains IMO are drop-ins w/ MAF tubes and lightweigh underdrive pulleys.
