I give this a try first.

I have some sound deadening material left over. Has anyone tried adding a speaker cover (i.e. enclosure) to the back side of the the 6.5" speakers? I am not sure if adding a speaker cover would potentially damage the speaker. This type of enclosure is sold to protect the back of speaker from potential water damage.
