I seen a 12' camaro SS. Interior is ramped up a lot. It definately has improved over the 10's & 11's I've driven. The external build quality is very good. As far as engine reliabilty. 2 of my camaro SS rentals have broken down on me. But that can be from rent-a-car abuse. Either way, I feel renting a car and it breaking down is proof that maybe the camaro folds if driven hard???

That said... I still think the camaro is a GORGEOUS car. Its the best looking rendering between the muscle car group. The revamped interior looks better than I thought it could. Torque response in a camaro feels stronger than a mustang even though the mustang ends up being faster... I'm sure the corvette suspension gives theZL1 an edge and right now this second... I'm sure it can give mustang something to fear. The lowest I seen on the ZL1 camaro was this or last months C&D. That was 3.9 seconds.

The extra 900 lbs on a camaro to a vette is meh to me. Camaro engineers really should find 300lbs to chop off. But I say, if you have a chance to buy what is going to be the rarest camaro out there? Go for it. The Z is awesome but its a different type of motorsports car so be sure that driving too fast of a car as a DD won't bore the shyt outta you.

Good luck man... you have good taste.
