After looking at the threads at night, it seems like they are colored burgundy, but I suspect that has to do with the silvery light that the moon gives off. I also am not familiar with how the Nismo seats look. I'll take some daytime pictures tomorrow like I promised.
As for how long it took to do the threads, I'm gonna say around 2 or so hours. At first, I thought I was gonna color each individual thread section, but I quickly decided that would be a gargantuan task. I decided to rapidly stroke sections of the thread with the orange pen (light base coat), and then go in with the red more deliberately and slowly, to get the rich color. Once you get a rhythm going, you'll be going in no time.
