Perhaps this is in lieu of the 0% financing being offered in the US which doesn't appear to be offered here. (several Nissans are but not the 370)

Cars here are advertised as one price with 0% and a lower "cash" price, effectively meaning you are paying interest anywhere from 5 to 7% if you finance. My neighbour is an F & I guy at a Dodge dealership and he said yup, there really is no such thing as 0%.
Is this typical in the US as well?
