I am planning on buying a 370z in the near future, and after the basic track requirements (oil cooler, brake pads/lines, fluids) I will be doing some autocross/HPDE's and eventually a racing school. I will just be focusing on driving ability for a while, getting experience, and learning as much as possible.
The question I have (after doing some research) is whether the issues I have been hearing about (such as brake ice mode and fuel starvation) are a serious concern as I begin to push the car harder. I understand that I may not have big problems with these for a while, but I just want an honest opinion of whether or not these are actually going to cause major problems.
The ice mode seems to be a safety concern under fast hard braking (the car will also be dd so I won't be installing an abs race system).
The fuel starvation is not actually nearly as big of a concern after seeing some potential fixes, but I also have not heard of many success stories.
I may just be making a big deal out of something I should not be concerned about, and eventually this may be a track only car anyway so these fixes will be possible (when street legality will not be an issue). What do those of you that do autocross/HPDE's think? Is it no big deal to adapt and deal with it?
Thanks
