Since I was a little kid, my Dad had told me stories about how he used to paint "whitewalls" on his tires when he was a teenager, because he couldn't afford real ones...and I've always kidded him about it.

Regardless if this were to look good on modern street cars, there would be absolutely no end to the grief I would get if he ever caught me with paint near tires on one of my vehicles.
