i thought you're an insurance guy.
you're just buying insurance.
and unlike auto-rip-off insurance, you can sell the lock when you sell the car if you dont use it.
even if there is a recall, i am sure there will be folks that will not get it done just because they dont want the dealer touching their cars. in that respect there will always be a market for functional steering locks.
