The GenCoupe is a fun alternative to think about when cross shopping this segment. I even liked the first generation one. It's a good move for Hyundai.

That said, I bought the Nissan over it for a few reasons, one of which was feel and handling, another was perceived build quality, and a few other subjective things like looks.

Even if a few numbers look prettier on paper, this is why we test drive and compare. I think the Z is nicer, but John Q Consumer doesn't have to agree.
