Yesterday I drove from Dallas to San Antonio. This gave me a chance to really hear how well the Dynamat worked. The road debris noise from the rear wheelwells is all but forgotten now. You can hear some of the larger objects hit, but even that is muffled out pretty well. I am running Berk HFC's and ARK Performance CBE. Before the Dynamat install, the drone from the exhaust driving in traffic at 50-60 mph was almost unbareable. Not much changed with the obnoxious noise between 50-60 on-off acceleration. Perhaps this is the HFC's. Tire noise with the stock Bridgestones wasn't too bad. I think that some of that could be reduced by using Dynamat in the doors. It doesn't bother me enough to do it unless I have to get into the door panels for something else first. All and all the drive was enjoyable with the exception of driving through Austin traffic and wishing my right leg was 6 inches shorter after 200 miles of driving. I will be removing my Berk HFC's and installing F.I. LTH's when I return home. I hope that takes care of the city traffic 50-60 mph exhaust drone.
