I almost got a 27", but then I took the depth of my desk into consideration and decided it would be a little big for how close I was (that's what she said).
If you don't have the photography hobby/habit I don't know what the attraction is to switching to an Apple. I prefer my Android phone to the iPhone and I have a love-hate relationship with my iPad. Steve Jobs' kool-aid isn't working on me.
