besides the obvious silva matchup (which i think jones would get taken out with furious vengence) a sort of out of the box match up i think would work is have belfort go back to 205 to fight him... but yeah beyond that 205 is sort of slimming out as a stacked division vs what it was a few years back... jones could have the belt a while by looking at the current 205 roster..
I agree with you on the Silva matchup and Belfort would be interesting as well. I think the real question is how long before Jones moves up to heavyweight. Jones vs dos Santos would be a good fight to see. Hell even Jones vs Lesnar would have been interesting. Jones has been good at defending takedowns for now, but I don't think he'd be able to stop Brock Lesnar from charging at him and putting him on the ground. Doesn't matter now though since Lesnar retired.
