Daily Driver. My Z hauls groceries. And kitty litter (that actually helps in the snow...). And lumber from Home Depot.
Where I live, we get perhaps 10 days of meaningful winter weather (ice or >6" of snow) a year. My commute is only a couple of miles through city streets. So long as it's not icy and the snow isn't deeper than the front lip, I can manage,
carefully.
If it's much worse than that, I just work from home. Or my wife can drop me off on her way to work. I've yet to meet a snowdrift that her Outback can't plow through or over.
