I would definitely find another mechanic. It sounds like your going to run a single fogger on each intake. If you can, running a direct port system is the best and safest route, but single fogger systems are fine. The placement on the intake is key because each cylinder needs to have an equal amount of air, fuel(if you're running a wet system), and nos by the time it gets there. In the past I've placed mine around a 1-1.5 foot away from the throttle body along the intake.
The most important part is the testing phase. When the install is complete, do a semi hard pull and check your spark plugs. Make sure they're all evenly covered in soot. If not, check the jets/foggers and make sure they're aimed directly down the middle of the tube or try placing them some somewhere else. Clean the spark plugs and test again until the nos is being distributed evenly.
