Hands down better than both you have listed.

don't think it is really fair to say the RE11 is "hands down" better than the RS3 or PSS, especially considering it is marginally faster at best, not to mention the narrower temperature window, price,* and worse street manners.
To the OP's question:
The PSS is a great street tire. Sidewall give is a little bit high for hard tracking, and you'll notice the tire wearing hard if you track seriously. The plus is a huge range of acceptable operating temps and great manners.
The RS3 is going to be faster than the PSS, and still offer a pretty solid temp range. It is obviously pricier and a little iffier in the wet.
The temp range is huge (IMO) for a autoX'd Z, since you are usually going to be cooking your front tires on a tight course. I like the RS3s if you take the autoXing seriously and don't do much in the rain. I also second cossie on needing a fatter front. 245s don't even come close to cutting it for the Z.
