I was just being general in my statement, take a look at the blackbook and see what is near the top of the list in terms of resale. You will see more Toyota/Honda than Nissan. Your experience might vary. Car market is weird in someways. I bought my mother a 2010 Nissan Cube 1.8L S new for $16100 (invoice) in June 2010. I helped my aunt get the same exact car 2010 1.8L S in December 2010 for $13400 before the earthquake in Japan. Sometimes it's just a matter of luck.

Btw the dealer could have easily inflated the price you paid for your new car instead of taking it from the used car, you honestly don't know. Some people might think paying sticker is stupid, but market and time kind of dictates a lot of it.
