Steve, you might want to take a look at the cost of the recaros. It's like 1500 bucks. That's steep. I will be happy with my leathers 
The 2013 is just ok. No kona, terrible black plastic license plate surrounds...makes me glad I got my 2012.
Btw, side note... Wife and i test drove a 2012 focus SE today. What a surprisingly fun and spirited car to drive. Almost traded my aging 2002 civic right then and there. That chassis is amazing. Ford is reeeeeally impressing me lately.
