Arsene Wenger is too stubborn to admit his way of doing things doesn't work. I think he truly believes in his philosophy of 'breeding' young players, but this hasn't really produced results.
After Van Persie being at the club for this 6 year trophy drought, he's probably a bit weary now.
Time will tell how bad or how surprising this season turns out
