According to one of the posts on that Youtube vid....it was $2800 just for the kit...unpainted. Or, your other suggestion is possible, however, they'd need to strip the car down quite a bit to make sure everything that needs to be painted will get painted.

I considered repainting my Monterey Blue Z last year and was told it would be between $10K - $13K to get it done. I could have just been getting the scam treatment but I was told this from what I consider to be a rather legit and honest body shop in my local area.
