I want my car to be the same. I would think that more speakers would sound better, but I've been on here long enough to see that you are way more knowledgable in this area than I am, so I would like to hear your reasons.

As was mentioned, I am a audiophile by heart. Think of a concert where the music you are hearing is coming from in front of you. So I like to replicate that.
I also go on the principle that artists record in 2 channel stereo, "some dvd's are 5.1 dolby or DTS" so that is how you should listen to your music with a 2 channel setup. SQ setups are made and build without rear fill as well.
Rear speakers are also for rear passengers and with such a small car with no rear seats I do not see the need for them. In addition the small 3 1/4 speakers are very close to your ears so they will reach your hearing before your fronts, throwing off your sound stage.
