Default Back speakers aren't working...

Hey guys, I'm sure this is a fairly simple problem, and I didn't see any other posts about this, so I'm really sorry if this has been answered before. I got my Z a few weeks ago and one of the first things I did was set up the audio the way I like it. That's when I realized that my rear speakers behind my seats aren't working at all. Just the door speakers and the dash tweeters. I took the dash apart and pulled the HU out to make sure nothing had come loose. I started heckling wire connections and everything *looks* good (didn't have time to pull out the multimeter) and I saw that there is only fr, fl, rr, rl wires. I'm guessing that the tweeters are hooked up with the door speakers right? I've done installs before so I'm familiar with this stuff, but I can't figure out why the back speakers wouldn't be working. When I fade to the back it just cuts out completely, so it's not a bad line to one of the speakers, but the back speaker connection is good behind the cd player. ?? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
