Yeah...that's why I posted it on here. I'm pretty aware of what dealers know (& don't know). I didn't want to post 'does my dealer know WTH they're talking about?'..but that's what I was thinking.

They claim it's so it doesn't stress the system. But my Mom's Altima (with nav) isn't set up that way. I need to check and see if they did the storage fuse deal - seems like this is something that might affect. And I can't get my Homelink to program either.

Back to the dealer part: I think if I was a car salesman I'd spend the 80% of the time I wasted sittin' around with the other salesmen BS'in on learning the dozen or so models in the line I sold. I can't think of a single time I've bought a car that the salesperson knew more about it than I did. And I'm not trying to be cocky, it's just the flat out truth. I'm in sales and I make damn sure I know my product and can tell a client all about it.
