It changes the steering feel. Sport mode in the Brembo cars is actually very sick. It lets you do a lot and isn't intrusive at all. If you get a little too carried away it will ease you back in line.

If you were to accidentally go into a corner to hot and slip too far for Sport Mode's comfort, it basically says, "hold on, I'm going to make you look good."
