well, it's a bit of a relative term. if you are expecting brisk acceleration like a sports car, and instead you get camry-like acceleration below 2500 rpm the car can appear to bog down. personally, i just couldn't stand letting the revs drop below 2500 rpm. maybe that's why my car was such a gas guzzler
