bigger pipping = more turbo lag. More velocity(smaller piping) = more spool, which in turn = Since the downpipe is basically the exhaust there is no backpressure issues. My only concern with the kit is the distance the air needs to travel to and from the turbo. Good numbers, I've seen these kits on a number of different cars and they make good power. It's all up to the individual owner in the end!
