Yes, I know the argument is "safety" but I call BS. It's an ill conceived fashion statement. Like putting a bandana on your golden lab.
I agree with cheap aftermarket knock offs fading away, but I have to disagree with you on the "LED fad" going away... Its just getting started. Companies like BMW and Lexus among a bunch others will soon be replacing HIDs with LEDs... which only means the technology is only going to improve from here on out.
