As long as all the mods are easily removable, there's nothing wrong with modding a lease. People do it all the time...its really no difference.

I think the only mod I have done which is going down the drain if I return the car is the tune, which I got with a discount anyhow. And I think there might be a way to sell the license itself (according to the manufacture).

Everything else was installed by me, and I can uninstall them and sell them with no problem. (It just takes some time).

The only thing I would consider overboard for a lease would be something like a paintjob or twin turbos (etc).
