I think the 40th Mats are thinner than normal stock mats...I could be wrong.I actually just bought a 2nd set on Ebay for $60...great deal, bunch of us jumped on it
As for OP's Jeans ruining the bolsters, you may need better jeans, I suggest Armani Exchange, very soft cotton
