Bracing isn't just about weight, it's about controlling the vibrations/flexing that can occur. You have a 350 with an HR and while similar, they are different enough for an issue like this to be present in our cars but not yours.
Glad it worked out with the bracket fix. Good points...so weight wasn't an issue there. Like OP, I see you installed a TP...not an HFC. I wonder if TPs tranmit more vibrations than HFCs?
