Well let's see, when my Z was silver. I would wash polish and wax. When the sun would hit it directly on a bright day. It was hard to look at directly. The car is pretty bright in light. In the dark with light hitting it. The silver becomes milky, almost can be confused with white if the light is yellow. The metallics will distort to make the car look pearl whitish. But next to pearl white you can tell its silver in that situation. I would say brilliant silver is very bright without the metallics being big noticeable chunks.

Hope that was a good answer?
