here's a pic of some other guy tying down a small dirt bike to a similar cart... good idea to have a channel for the tires to help stablize it... I think instead of tying down the bike to the front corners, he could have used the space better (and in this case you prob have a shorter cart) by building a cross bar with tie down points further forward towards the hitch... will create a longer angle and interfere less with other gear on the cart... also the front is better tied down to the handle bars vs how he has it wrapped around... handle bar tied down = more lateral stability...
