So one thing you all have to think about and I do not think has been mentioned in this thread is something my wife noticed and that we don't think about often enough. This came to light when I left my wife sitting in the Corvette parked way out. People go zipping through the parking spots and come within inches of your car if your not careful of where you park.

I actually have had the front corner of my F250 damaged by another truck when I parked way out as some girl made her way from one row to another and cut it a little too close to my truck. Still to this day, I forget about these idiots. I'm glad it wasn't the Z this crazy girl hit in her SUV. I saw it and had to run after her in the parking lot to get her to stop. Stood in front of her truck and screamed at her that if she didn't park her car right now I'd call the police. I yelled out I saw you hit my car... and of course no denying it as she had a 3' long gash in her two left doors. Of course, go to find out she doesn't have insurance ...She was so apologetic once she got out of her car.... So what?!!! So, I let my insurance company deal with it. At least, since I had uninsured motorist, I wasn't out my $500 ded as if she actually had left the scene. Her problem for not having insurance is her problem not mine. I'm just glad I didn't have to pursue her in court.

Since knowing this I try to find a spot that puts my passenger side up against a curb and drivers side as far from the next car space as possible. I also look for angled parking. However, that doesn't guarantee someone won't park next to you.

I used to get upset at that ... but, then noticed that 9 out of 10 times it's a nice car or a car that appears to be a car someone cares for and they know your not going to ding their door. Therefore, as long as they stay in their spot and it's not some big SUV trying to be a jerkoff and not giving me enough room to get my fat *** in the car... I've just learned to be OK with it.

I need to lose about 40lbs to get back to my ideal weight and I'm working on it. But, until I do I'd like to be able to get back into my car .... please. I do not have the option to crawl over the center console and I've had to wait a couple of times until the owner has come back and moved their car so that I could get in. Each time they were like.... Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know. I'm like thanks a lot and just drive away.

In my case, I park out far for a reason... to get in and out of my car. I might be a big guy and I'm sure that imtimidates them when they come back to their car but, maybe they will pick another spot next time.

Then again maybe not .... that's why I like BIC pens.

Why do the worst drivers have to have the biggest SUV out there on the road ... Then they try to excuse their actions by saying it's just so hard to park...
My reasponse is if you can't park it don't buy it.... Then there is Soccer Moms that just don't care or, turn a blind eye and the kids in the back seat of those SUV's. But, I have said enough... more than most of you want to read probably.

Please forgive my rant ... but, then again; it was very therapeutic for me. So, thanks for letting me vent.
