Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but this is basically a done deal.
The only reason it took a bit longer than usual was because the holiday got in the way.
And it's not just going to be $600, it's more along the lines of $1350 (but it was still worth it!) but if you know ANYONE that would go that low... please do tell ^_^
