Love this thread. Just made it through the entire thing.
I used to park in an above ground garage for work. I'd go through several empty levels to the top level and take the corner spot, hugging the wall. The top 2-3 levels were always empty. I did this every day.
One day, I was sitting in my spot listening to music because I was a bit early. Up the ramp at 100 mph comes a big pick-up. Heads straight for me. Swings around, slams into reverse, backs in at record speed and slams into the concrete wall. The guy got out, looked at his damage, and left. He had to know I was there because I listen to music loud. I was cracking up, but he wouldn't look at me.
I know I didn't take "his" spot because I parked there every day. I can't explain it. It was the farthest spot from the elevator. Why right next to me? WHY.
