rule of thumb:
wider front better turn-in (excessive = oversteer bias)
wider rear better straight-line stability (excessive = understeer bias).
you will need at least 10mm change to make a noticable handling/feedback difference on street.
you will also notice wheel rate changes from about 10mm given you are running the same tires and psi.
on my car i had ET15 on the rear and was having slight understeer bias with ET38 so added a 5mm on the front (ET33). perfect.
