Heck, based on my old cars I would only check the oil once a month if that because I really didn't need to. Yep, I agree. Mind you, it's kinda sad that some folks never think to check their oil levels, isn't it? I guess maybe what I consider to be common sense isn't so 'common' after all. On the other hand, when I think of all the questions that get posted on this forum that people can answer for themselves if they'd just crack open their owner's manuals, I'm not so shocked anymore.
