As having owned both G's, I actually felt the styling was an improvement. I just felt the G35 did a better job of having performance that was closely related to the 350z vs the G37s on the 370z. The 37hr cars definately don't share as many driving characteristics as the 35's. The G35 performance was just more of a true sport coupe. The G37, though still high performance feels more refined. And I don't mean more refined in a good way. The 35's definately felt more torquey as well. I'm sure that helped.
