I'm only doing what everyone SHOULD be doing! I mean, its the least we can all do. I would do anything for anyone who served or is serving our country. I have been to the BAMC burn unit and seen some really horrible injuries. The battle doesn't stop when they get back home. My brother joined the military when he was 18. He has seen a lot of time out of country. 24 years later, he's a Colonel and still serving. My dad served in Vietnam. My grandfather, Korea. I was on the way to the recruiter almost 22 years ago when my Dad stopped me and said, "I can only give them 1 of my boys, go to college". I ended up going to Nursing school, then Law School after that. Sometimes I regret that I walked out of the recruiters office that day. Then again, maybe my Dad knew something i didn't. It wasn't until I toured BAMC this holiday season that I really understood what he was thinking. My Dad is nearly 100 percent disabled. I really believe that our country suffers from a lack of compassion, responsibility and accountability. We are weaker today because of it. I demand that the girls in our program provide service hours because I want them to know what it is like to serve others rather than just themselves. That is what our military does for all of us. They do not stand at enemy lines thinking about what movie they are going to watch tonight. They do not lie on foreign grounds wondering where they will go out to eat. They are out there so we can be here enjoying our freedom. One day I read something on my brother's facebook, it said "Dying for my country is the only way to live and fighting for my country is the only way to die".

goosebumps.

Thanks for your service Fl4motion and to all those that serve and die for this country.
