this will be my first time driving the dragon. do you vets recommend a set of brake pads, brake lines, fluids, and an oil cooler before making the trip/driving the dragon? i imagine i will be doing a lil' more than "cruising" on the trip
pads aren't needed. the dragon is really pretty light on braking, unless you are absolutely killing it on the straights. I was usually letting off about 80% of the way down any straight, since you are usually going pretty fast at that point and the speed limit is only 35mph. there were a couple of runs where I only touched the brakes a handful of times over the entire 11 mile stretch of the dragon. The other roads demand a little more of your brakes, but they still really aren't in the range where you need to swap pads, and you'll probably notice a decrease in performance if you go more aggressive, since you won't be heating them up much.
