Default Spare not practical for me

I also was investigating adding a spare when I purchased my 2010 roadster new in Jan 2010 but soon discarded the idea. You can buy the parts from the dealer (about $500 from what I remember) but after thinking about it, mounting a spare and placing the flat in the passenger seat (on long trips I usually have a passenger with me) made it unworkable. Around town I have no use for a spare as I can just call AAA. Your situation may be different however.

Unless Nissan changed it, the Z roadster was never sold with run flats from the factory.

Good luck.
