For the record the faulty component that caused the stuck throttle was designed and manufactured by an AMERICAN company. The Denso made components for the Japanese manufactured cars were never a problem just the US made ones. FWIW

Depending on how the hybrid system is implemented this magic 500 hp may not be as bad as it sounds. If they use electric motors to actually drive the wheels then that's gonna be one hell of a flat torque curve.
