honestly, i'm kinda excited about it. brad byrd is directing it making this movie (of all movies) to be his live action directorial debut. he's one of the masterminds behind Pixar and is responsible for most of their really good franchises and making them successful. i liked the 1st MI, appreciate what the 2nd one was trying to do but thought it got a bit to artsy, and liked the 3rd one quite a lot. i have high hopes for the 4th one.
having said all of that, the first 6 (or was it 8?) minutes of TDKR will be shown at select IMAX theaters before the first showings of MI4. i'm not going to be able to see it but i'm sure it will hit the net at some point either in printed script form or a video. everything i'm seeing and hearing from the reports coming in on the movie websites is that this one is truly going to be epic. i'm sure nolan knows how to end the series. when the dust settles, nothing may top TDK but i hope it's just a really good movie and a really good ending to the "Nolan Trilogy", and that, i'm 100% sure of that it will be! me:
