I feel like I have been had by Nissan....They aren't even close to the quality of Toyotas. Oh, and this is the second time this has happened...
Are you proud of your product Nissan?

I may be guilty of having high standards or expectations, but I don't think you would like being in my shoes at that moment.
At the dealership I did speak to the assistant general manager and during the conversation he mentioned that Toyotas have a high amount of recalls. My reply was that Nissan should follow suit and have pride in their product and more importantly attempt to REALLY fix issues.
To their credit the dealership is very responsive and treated me right. But it is the same concept to me when you get the wrong order at McDonald's...."Dude...it is your only job to get the order right". Likewise, a car's purpose is to GO...and even more so with a high-performance version. And it has let me down twice.
I guess I am the only one that considers my time valuable.
Sorry if I have offended anyone, but I can't help but feel embarrassed that I thought Nissan would be of the same quality as Toyota. That's on me.

I smell double standard.
My family (extended included) have owned a Murana, about 4 Maximas, 2 Altimas, 2 280zx's, a 50th Anniversery 300zx, an old red pickup truck (no idea on model name) and my 240sx and 370z. Most of mileage on these vehicles was over 130k before we got rid of them. My 240sx has 235k on it.
The extent of issues we have had on these vehicles is the 300zx does not run smoothly because my uncle neglects it and the 240sx needs a new transmission after 200k miles.
We also have a Honda Accord that has gone through 3 transmissions before the 135k mark. Kind of crazy if you ask me, but it doesn't mean the whole company is trash.
All makes have their lemons, just means you need to add some sugar and make lemonaide!!!
