Just after the disaster in Japan, carmax was milking the situation by selling 2 year old Fits for 20 grand, about 2 grand more than msrp for a new one!

Just go through a credit union for easy financing. My local credit union is currently running a promotion for 1.9 for up to 84 months! Crazy cheap car loans. And I've found the credit unions to be much more forgiving if you slip up than the big banks like Chase and so on.
