I had the 9980 installed in my car a few weeks back...first I had them put in the 6980, but I thought the screen was too small and like the other forumite said, its stupid to be looking down while you're driving. I agree. The installer said there was no way to install in the cubby box..I ended up getting the 9980 and the screen is much bigger and looking down is now much less of a distraction...however, the stereo is so high tech that just adjusting things could take your eyes off the road long enough to cause an accident....It took a day or two but they did get all of the steering control functions to work...I need to put a subwoofer in the trunk any ideas? Its a roadster, I want to keep my spare and I need to keep my golf clubs in there too...
