When you reduce engine movement you get a perceived "snatch" as the drivetrain comes on load. On standard mounts this is dampened out , particularly when they are hydraulic mounts like the 370Z has. Its more of a "feel" than an actual quickness on the throttle. It does give the feeling that you are more connected to the car. It’s very subjective.
