ALMS cars have AC and other series have AC suits. Times have changed and things have evolved, there is no such thing as a pure sports car. The term is just used by guys who want to make excuses. The "pure" sports car from the 60s or 70s or even 80s would get lapped by my Prius. It doesn't make them any less of a sports car, it's just that technology have caught on.
